JAZZ at MOCA featuring Etienne Charles

Overview

Start the year off with a bang! Joins us for JAZZ at MOCA and experience the sounds of award winning musician Etienne Charles. As a performer, composer and storyteller, Charles' lush trumpet varies between compositional textures and pulsating percussive grooves. Through original compositions, thematic improvisation, dance, short films and spoken word, Etienne Charles creates a holistic experience to engage his audience.

Jazz at MOCA is South Florida’s longest-running free outdoor jazz concert series, and one of the museum’s most beloved public programs returns for in-person open air musical entertainment, rain or shine. Since 1999, Jazz at MOCA has been presented on the MOCA Plaza on the last Friday of the month.

Hundreds of concert-goers have enjoyed a free concert, activations, and pay as you wish admission to the museum from 7 to 10 p.m.

Seating starts at 7 PM, concert begins at 8 PM.

Registration includes access to the MOCA galleries until 10pm. Guests do not need to check-in upon arrival.

**Please note, seating is first-come first-serve, but you're welcome to bring your own chairs.**
