Conversation and Special MOCA Makers: Found Music Workshop with Lonnie Holley

Join us for a special Saturday with artist Lonnie Holley. The afternoon will begin with a conversation with the artist in the Lonnie Holley: If You Really Knew exhibition space from 12-1pm.

Directly following the Conversation, a special edition of MOCA Makers will take place from 1-3pm in the MOCA Pavilion where participants will have the opportunity to delve into the world of found music. During thisworkshop, led by the renowned artist Lonnie Holley, you’ll create your own "instrument sculpture" using found objects. Be fully immersed in Holley's captivating music and art practice as he guides you through the process, sharing his expertise and creative techniques. Discover the art of transforming ordinary materials into extraordinary musical instruments, celebrating the harmonious fusion of sound and sculpture.
