Join us for a hands-on workshop led by Art on the Plaza artist, Sterling Rook. Participants will create a unique spray-dyed silhouette shirt, using a blend of stencils and mixed media techniques, drawing inspiration from by the artist’s signature palm imagery from Almost Home. Bring your fabric or shirt, or select from our limited stock.
About the artist:
Sterling Rook is a Miami native and Florida International University fine arts graduate. Their practice incorporates forged steel, painted palm fronds, and ropes made from repurposed clothing – redefining sculpture and fiber art.
