Public Tours: each Saturday 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. with MOCA Exhibitions Education Specialist Lauren Baccus
These tours are conducted by our education exhibition specialist and textile artist, Lauren Baccus. Through her practice and ongoing research in material culture at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Baccus brings an object driven approach to learning and relation.
Ambassadors-Led Tours
MOCA Ambassadors are 18+ volunteer tour guides who support thoughtful engagement with the art and exhibitions.

Want to become a MOCA Ambassador? Prior art or teaching experience is not required!
Here’s How:
1) Take an initial training session
2) Participate in additional monthly development sessions in contemporary art, museum education, methodology, and history of the museum.
A minimum commitment of two 3.5-hour weekend shifts per month is also required.
Virtual Tours
Welcome MOCA North Miami directly into your classroom with virtual tours of the exhibition Didier William: Nou Kite Tout Sa Dèyè and Leah Gordon’s Kanaval). Tour dates and times are available upon request. Tours last an average of 30-45 minutes and can include grade-appropriate worksheets or lesson plans.
