Wangechi Mutu is considered one of the most inventive and critically-engaged artists of her generation. Her multi-faceted work captures 21st century global sensibilities by addressing issues such as race, gender and power. She will discuss her acclaimed exhibition “Wangechi Mutu: A Fantastic Journey” with curator Trevor Schoonmaker of the Nasher Museum of Art, Duke University, who curated and organized the exhibition.
