The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) established its permanent collection in 1995. This growing collection reflects significant artistic developments in contemporary art by emerging and established artists from the U.S. and abroad. It is also distinguished for its large-scale installations by contemporary artists, and in several instances, seminal installations by artists who emerged during the 1990s. An exciting selection of these works will be on view from September 17 to October 31, 2004 in the exhibition In Situ: Installations and Large-Scale Works in the Permanent Collection.
