Limited Edition Print – Ragnar Kjartansson, Du Holde Kunst, 2012

Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson created this work in honor of the 15th anniversary of North Miami’s Museum of Contemporary Art. The print is based on Kjartansson’s performance piece, Du Holde Kunst, in which he sings a slow, repetitive version of Franz Schubert’s An Die Musik accompanied by a pianist, brass quartet, harp, timpani, large crash cymbal, and showgirls with big feather fans.
