ART AND INTRIGUE AT MOCA’S MYSTERY DATES,
NOVEMBER 12

Patrons of the Museum of Contemporary Art’s MYSTERY DATES on Saturday, November 12 will enjoy an evening of art and intrigue as they attend glamorous dinner parties in the private homes of some of Miami’s most inspired hosts. The mystery is that guests learn only that evening which dinner they will attend on the night of the big event.

Tickets to Mystery Dates 2011 are available for $175 per person with a discount of $50 for MOCA Shaker and above members. Tickets may be purchased by calling 305 893 6211 or visiting www.mocanomi.org .  Proceeds from the event benefit MOCA’s exhibitions of experimental and emerging artists.

The excitement will begin with a festive cocktail party at MOCA (770 NE 125th Street in North Miami) where guests will discover their next stop for the evening.  Mystery Dates hosts are a mix of creative business professionals and entrepreneurs, all of whom share a passion for contemporary art and a love of entertaining.  Settings include a contemporary glass house in Coconut Grove, an elegant oceanside villa on Golden Beach, an industrial loft in Wynwood, a MiMO house in Morningside, a South Beach penthouse with sweeping views, and a leading interior designer’s home on Pinetree Drive.   Once at their assigned home, patrons will tour the private collections, mingle with other arts lovers and enjoy a delicious meal.  After dinner, guests will reconvene for a late-night party at The Setai, 2001 Collins Avenue, in Miami Beach.
