OPTIC NERVE 11 SELECTIONS

The digital video, She Said As Long As you Run with Me, by the artist collaborative TM Sisters is being purchased for MOCA’s permanent collection with funds provided by Starbucks Coffee Company.  The video was one of the 15 short films and videos featured in MOCA’s Optic Nerve XI festival.  MOCA Executive Director and Chief Curator Bonnie Clearwater announced the acquisition at the Optic Nerve screening on August 7, 2009.   Cristina Molina’s film Wow! Whitening Strips (Miss Everything) was voted Audience Favorite.
