FREE After-School Classes for students ages 13 to 18.
Classes begin Jan. 4, 2016 and are everyday from 3:30pm – 5:30pm.
From studio classes to social events, MOCA offers an exciting roster of programs that engage young people ages 13 -18 in the vibrant world of contemporary art.

Fashion designers are problem solvers. Students learn about the fashion industry, develop skills, and make clothing and accessories. They will also produce a design portfolio and launch fashion shows at MOCA .
ADVANCED FASHION DESIGN
Fashion designers are problem solvers. In this offering, a continuation of the previous class, students refine knowledge about the fashion industry, develop skills, and make clothing and accessories. They will continue work on a design portfolio and launch fashion shows at MOCA.
Figure drawing is a vital skill for those interested in fine art, illustration, animation, character design, costume design and fashion design.
ACTING AND IMPROVISATION
Students will learn to express themselves and experiment with multimedia art combining photography, video, and performance.
Students will learn about the museum, its mission, exhibitions and programs while developing exciting projects including children’s or family events, video production, and curating showcases of teen work in the visual arts, music and fashion. Students also enjoy monthly enrichment activities that may include lectures, workshops and tours featuring professionals and their careers in the arts. Students receive community service hours.
