Whether communicating with a coworker, the boss, a professor, or a patron there is one way to do it and then there is the right way. Interns will get the inside scoop to operate like a seasoned veterans in their professionalism. We’ll cover how to handle common sticky situations, and discern how to avoid them in the first place.

MOCA Creative Careers Saturday Workshops
A five-part workshop series instructed by Career Stylist Emma Galler, that will provide tools and strategies for students to navigate their career paths. Emma Galler has worked as an arts administrator with non-profit organizations, galleries, and museums in Boston, Savannah and Miami. Her own Creative Career has run the gamut from working as a teaching artist, to production, to programming, to event planning, to marketing, public relations and fundraising.
In the Miami cultural community, she has experienced working with small visual arts organization and large performing arts center, and nearly everyone in between. She has a passion for translating business skills to work for the creative professional and she loves teaching and sharing advice, either one on one or for a group. She has conducted career workshops for Arts for Learning and The LAB Miami.
